Phil Ivey has been branded as the best poker player on the planet by most of the top-ranked pros. Phil Ivey was born in Riverside, CA and relocated to NJ before reaching the age of one. His papa showed him to penny-ante Five-Card Stud poker. From then on on, Phil was addicted to poker and wanted to discover anything he could about poker. He routinely told his grandparents that he wanted to be a professional poker player. He decided to take his game to the successive level and moved out west to Vegas. He continues to participate in in "The Big Game" at the Bellagio with the best players on the planet. Ivey credits his achievements to discipline and an undying passion for poker. He states that he is learning every day and is very humble about his success. Phil admits to making errors every single session of poker and constantly aspires to improve.

Despite the fact that Phil has won some big-time tournaments, he favors destroying cash games on a normal basis.
