Online poker has become world celebrated lately, with televised championships and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, arcs back in reality a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years many variants on the first poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with blackjack than traditional poker, in that the gamblers wager against the house instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is little concealment or other types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up prior to the dealer broadcasting "No further wagers." At that instance, both you and the house and of course all of the other gamblers receive 5 cards. After you have seen your hand and the bank's initial card, you must either make a call wager or accede. The call wager's amount is akin to your beginning wager, which means that the risks will have doubled. Giving Up means that your wager goes immediately to the bank. After the bet is the conclusion. If the bank doesn't have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, plus an amount in accordance with the original bet. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the dealer's hand. The bank pays out money equal to your initial bet and fixed expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • three to one for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
