Internet poker has become world celebrated as of late, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back in reality a bit farther than its television scores. Over the years several types on the original poker game have been developed, including some games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to vingt-et-un than old guard poker, in that the gamblers bet against the bank instead of each other. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little bluffing or different types of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up before the dealer broadcasting "No more bets." At that point, both you and the dealer and of course all of the different gamblers attain five cards each. After you have seen your hand and the casino's initial card, you must either make a call bet or accede. The call bet's value is akin to your beginning bet, indicating that the stakes will have doubled. Surrendering means that your ante goes instantly to the dealer. After the wager is the face off. If the bank does not have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, plus a sum equal to the ante. If the bank does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand beats the bank's hand. The casino pays chips even with your bet and controlled expectations on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
