Web poker has become world famous as of late, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, arcs back in reality a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years several types on the earliest poker game have been developed, including some games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling twenty-one than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers bet against the house rather than each other. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no conniving or different kinds of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up just before the croupier declares "No further wagers." At that moment, both you and the house and of course all of the other players are given five cards. After you have looked at your hand and the casino's first card, you must either make a call bet or give up. The call wager's value is on same level to your original ante, which means that the risks will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your ante goes instantly to the casino. After the wager is the face off. If the dealer does not have ace/king or better, your bet is returned, with a figure in accordance with the initial wager. If the casino does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand defeats the casino's hand. The dealer pays chips equal to your bet and set expectations on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
